A comprehensive year-long training program in regenerative syntropic agriculture
Our intensive Annual Syntropic Farming Training Program is a hands-on, season-based learning experience that teaches the principles of syntropic agriculture - a revolutionary farming method that mimics natural forest succession to create abundant, self-sustaining food systems. This practical training program combines deep ecological understanding with real-world implementation skills.
During the program we follow a full season. In syntropic agriculture, each season plays a crucial role in the natural succession and development of the farming system. Understanding and working with these seasonal rhythms allows us to optimize plant growth, soil regeneration, and ecosystem development throughout the year.
Each module kicks off with an in-field multiday training followed by guided work in the field throughout the season.
❄️ Winter is the time for understanding the plot location, design, and establishing the foundation of a syntropic system. It's when we prepare the field and plant the trees and woody shrubs.
☀️ Summer is the period of active management and first harvests, where we learn to balance taking from the system while continuing to feed and optimize it through strategic interventions.
🍀 Spring brings new life as we introduce short-lived plants and herbs, focusing on placenta species that will kickstart the succession process and prepare the soil for more complex consortia.
🍂 Autumn represents maturity and planning for the future, as we harvest the main crops, collect seeds, and prepare the system for winter.
Each module includes several days of intensive, hands-on training combining:
